Gaston Middle School: Project Based Learning Day #3

How could we ever forgot the one-of-a-kind Science Deparment? After our training session with the gift of gab having English Department, we were able to get together with the folks who know their way around beakers, formulas, and measurements. Our PBL Training Day with Gaston Middle's Science Department went off with bang...pun intended.

On a serious note, Project Based Learning and Science go together about as well as one Oxygen atom bonded with two Hydrogen atoms. From projects such as School Gardens to Solar Power Systems to predicting the likelihood of potential Earthquakes, there are endless avenues in Science that teachers and students can go down to develop projects that address real-world challenges and issues.
